Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on Clopper Road between Waring Station Road and Game Preserve Road early Tuesday morning. According to MCPD, “At approximately 12:37 a.m., on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, a Honda was traveling north on Clopper Rd., when for reasons still under investigation, it left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The adult male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is investigating this collision. A news release will be distributed once more information becomes available – including the name of the decedent. Anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to contact CRU detectives at (240) 773-6620.”
