Poolesville UNICEF to Host Winter Fun Night Event for MCPS Students

To celebrate the end of the first semester of the school year, the Poolesville UNICEF Club is hosting a virtual Winter Fun Night on Thursday January 28th.

UNICEF is a United Nations Agency that provides humanitarian relief to children around the world.

From the Poolesville club:
The Poolesville UNICEF Club is organizing a virtual Winter Fun Night on Thursday, January 28th from 4-6pm for MCPS students. There will be Pictionary, Scavenger Hunts, Trivia and more!

In addition, the Paper Bridges Club will be hosting a workshop to write letters to orphans.

Admission is free, but we encourage families to donate $5 per student. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the end of the first semester while supporting UNICEF’s mission of helping children in need. Click here for more information

Bethesda Film Fest

The 2024 Bethesda Film Fest will feature five short documentary films made by filmmakers from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Screenings will be held Friday April 5 and Saturday April 6 at Landmark Bethesda Row Cinema.
