Popular Maryland Restaurant ‘Jimmy’s Famous Seafood’ Now Has Products Available in 197 Weis Market Locations

by MCS Staff

Since 1974, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood has served the Baltimore community with iconic culinary creations. Founded by the late Dimitrios “Jimmy” Minadakis, the restaurant quickly became synonymous with crab cakes and Maryland seafood in general. Today, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood carries on his vision through his sons, who have grown the business into a nationally known brand, shipping their food across the country.  The restaurant’s soups, dips, and crab pretzels are now available through 197 Weis Markets locations. Weis currently has two Montgomery County locations (Damascus and Gaithersburg) with a third on the way in Clarksburg.

The restaurant announced today that “You can now find our Famous soups, dips, and crab pretzels at 197 Weis Markets! We’re thrilled to enter this partnership, which brings us closer to new customers via the most convenient method possible! Thank you for your unwavering support. Be sure to share your photos with us when you discover our products at a location nearest you!” We recommend checking with your local Weis, as the partnership is new.

Per Jimmy’s Seafood: “With hard work, dedication and the love for food & family, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood has climbed new, unimaginable heights. Minadakis may be the family name, but our staff of over 200 employees are considered equally a part of the family. Thanks to our team, we were able to bring our vision to Living Room screens across America. Featuring on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, Beat Bobby Flay and more. Our stadium staff allows for the opportunity to serve major arenas such as M&T Bank Stadium, Camden Yards and Nationals Park. Charm City continues to be our home, allowing us to employ a plethora of talented, dynamic locals devoted to providing every guest with a famously good experience.”
