Potomac Valley Starbucks to Move Into Pizza Hut Location and Add Drive-Thru (Gaithersburg)?

We were told by two employees of the Starbucks in the Potomac Valley shopping center in Gaithersburg that management is considering a move to the Pizza Hut location in the same shopping center and become a drive-thru.

The Pizza Hut location (12167 Darnestown Rd.) closed temporarily for renovations this past summer. They re-opened for delivery only for a couple months before closing permanently a few weeks back.

I was told that there’s no specific timeline for when this will occur, but that “it’ll happen soon” by the employees we spoke with. Management did not have a comment on the situation.
