Update: Quizno’s No Longer Coming Back to Gaithersburg

UPDATE (1/13/21) We spoke with Site Realty after seeing a ‘For Lease’ sign back up in space at the 124 Plaza shopping center. They informed us Quizno’s will not be coming back.

The Quizno’s wrap was removed a few weeks back and replaced with the ‘For Lease’ sign.

The space was recently marked for an expansion of the Dunkin/Baskin Robbins that is next to it, but that is no longer going to occur either and the location between Dunkin/BR and Papa John’s is available to lease.

If you’re interested in leasing the property, please reach out to Site Realty at (301)622-9300.

Quizno’s is coming back to Gaithersburg.

Many Quizno’s locations closed across the country when the company filed for bankruptcy back in 2014. MoCo is down to two, (Rockville and Bethesda), but it looks like the sub chain is making a mini-comeback.

Quizno’s will be opening on Woodfield Road in the Airpark area of Gaithersburg, between Baskin Robbins/Dunkin’ Donuts and Papa John’s.

We were told by an employee of the Rockville location to expect it to come soon.

  1. Funny that is the space it occupied years ago. How ironic that is give it 10 years and will go bankrupt again.
