Rio Updates
Roosters Men’s Grooming Center is now open in Rio. It took over the old Omaha Steaks location at Grand Corner Avenue, across from Barnes & Noble.
Amazing Lash will take over the spot right next to Roosters and construction has already begun.
F45 is no longer coming to Rio, as the agreement seems to have fallen through. There is no word on why, but we were able to confirm that the Mark Wahlberg-backed gym is no longer in the plans for Rio.
The fire pit lounge, located between Uncle Julio’s and the old Joe’s Crab Shack location, is being worked on as we speak. We expect it to be ready fairly soon.
Fantasticks, a customizable gelato bar and pop dessert spot, has delayed the opening of its permanent location until January of 2021. Previously, Fantasticks expected to open in October, but you’re still able to get your bars on the boardwalk. No word on whether the boardwalk location will remain open as temperatures drop.
True Food Kitchen, the restaurant that is taking over the old Joe’s Crab Shack location, doesn’t look like it’ll open in 2020. Though the exterior is pretty much complete, there is a lot of work left to do inside.
