Rita’s closed down for the season as they usually do, but rumors began to swirl when customers noticed the inside being gutted.
We made a couple calls, but couldn’t find out any information until the Olney Chamber of Commerce posted that Rita’s did not renew its lease and has closed permanently.
Olney will not be without frozen treats, however, with Coldstone and Baskin Robbins both across the street, Yogiberry nearby, and CB Açaí Bowls planning to open in the Olney Center (near Wasabi Zen) in early 2020.
