Andrew Sean Greer has won the Pulitzer Prize for his fiction novel “Less.”
Born in Washington D.C., Greer was raised in Rockville. He attended Farmland Elementary School and lived in the Tilden Woods development in Rockville.
Greer is the best-selling author of The Story of a Marriage and The Confessions of Max Tivoli.
His sixth book, Less, is a comedy that was published in 2017. The book is about a man facing his 50th birthday who receives an invitation to his ex-boyfriend’s wedding. He then accepts the invitation and travels around the world and back, fighting himself every step of the way.
