Several crashes have been reported across the county, according to tweets by MCFRS PIO Pete Piringer. Montgomery County remains on Blue Alert with over 25 of 43 available EMS transport units committed on calls or at the hospital.
12:45- NB I270 IAO prior to Montrose Rd, collision, single vehicle into a wall
12:25- North Frederick Ave. and Perry Parkway,, Gaithersburg, collision
12:14- Arcola Avenue and Kemp Mill Rd., road blocked, tree down
12:07- 8300 Wisconsin Ave. near Battery Lane, collision, involves two vehicles, including delivery truck
11:54- SB I270 between Shady Grove Rd. and Route 28, collision
11:45- Ashton Road and Tucker Lane, Ashton, collision, head on collision, involves two vehicles, some lanes blocked
11:23- TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Southbound Tower Oaks Blvd at Wootton Parkway is closed due to a traffic related incident. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route. Expect significant delays.
11:12- Shady Grove Rd. near Millrun Rd., tree down, Some lanes are blocked
