Charles Snowden signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia back in May.
The 6’7 outside linebacker is from Silver Spring and started out at Blake High School before moving on to St. Alban’s in DC.
Snowden has made a name for himself on the Bears’ practice squad after a strong preseason that included 6 tackles and 2 sacks in their three games.
Sunday will be the 23-year old rookie’s regular season debut. He’s expected to play a major role on special teams and could see a few defensive snaps as well.
Snowden tweeted “When preparation meets opportunity. Just the first of many.” upon the news of the Bears roster moves.
