Comus Inn Splits Restaurant Into Two Separate Dining Outlets

The Comus Inn at 23900 Old Hundred Rd in Dickerson has announced that starting today, the restaurant will feature two separate menus and dining experiences for their guests.

The lower level and outdoor area will now be known as The Beer Hall at Comus Inn and will feature their current menu. The main floor and upper level will now be known as Chef Sammy D’s Dining Room at the Comus Inn and will feature a new menu with options such as garganelli pasta with duck ragu and organic Scottish Salmon.

The Comus Inn reopened under new ownership back in October, 2020.

From the Comus Inn Facebook:

“After 1-Year of constant changes to our model, we are finally close to realizing our original concept – and it’s happening TONIGHT!

Going forward, The Comus Inn will effectively be split into 2 different outlets with entirely different menus.
The menu that you already know and love will continue to be available, but only in our downstairs and outdoor areas, which will now be known as The Beer Hall at The Comus Inn. The Beer Hall will continue to be first-come, first-served, and will still operate under a limited service model.
Our main floor and upper level will now be known as Chef Sammy D’s Dining Room at The Comus Inn, and it will feature a brand new menu featuring more composed plates (and some long lost favorites – like Lobster Roll Sliders). Rumor has it that our original Sweet & Sour Brussels Sprouts may make an appearance again too – but don’t tell @chefsammyd that I told you that!
As we transition, and so as not to upset anyone with existing dinner reservations, please know that we will continue to offer The Beer Hall menu in Chef Sammy D’s Dining Room throughout this weekend; however, beginning next week, you will need to go to each respective outlet for service of that menu.
Thanks for bearing with us and we hope you are as excited about this as we are!”
