Partner

For these Friday night showings, Montgomery Parks is partnering with our very own Park Police! They will be helping Park Staff set up Movies in the Parks and will remain on-site throughout the evening to hang out with community members and keep the event safe. Officers will be there on horseback to show off their trusted animal companions and will be bringing a police vehicle to offer tours to interested movie-goers. See a note from their Chief, Darryl W. McSwain below!

“The Maryland-National Capital Park Police values the sanctity of life and will ensure our policies, hiring practices, training, community engagement efforts, accountability measures, and officer wellness programs remain consistent with a standard of excellence. The Park Police cannot reach its full potential without you. I truly believe our greatest strength is our diversity… diversity of thought, experiences, ethnicity, interests, beliefs, and dreams. We are truly stronger together.”
