Two women and one man were pronounced dead after an SUV and snowplow collided on Monday evening in Fairland. A fourth person was taken to the hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
The crash occurred around 6:45pm on Columbia Pike near Briggs Chaney Road, according to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services Pete Piringer.
An investigation is currently underway. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
