Update: 15-Year-Old Hospitalized With Life—Threatening Injuries After Being Struck by Driver in Germantown

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services and Montgomery County Police responded to a collision involving a pedestrian Tuesday night in Germantown. According to MCPD, “at approximately 8:53 p.m., 5th District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the area Wisteria Dr. and Great Seneca Hwy. for the report of traffic collision involving a pedestrian.  

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 15-year-old male was crossing Wisteria Dr. after Great Seneca Hwy., when for reasons still under investigation he was struck by an Acura. The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.   

The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene. This is an active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to contact CRU detectives at (240) 773-6620.”
