According to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services Pete Piringer, Fire Investigators recently arrested Bill Clinton Gomzez, 18, of Rockville and charged him with 2nd degree arson for allegedly setting a vacant house on fire on N. Horners La in Rockville on April 23, 2022. Gomez, along with a juvenile, was also charged for motor vehicle thefts in April and June of this year that also involved arson.
Fire Investigators also arrested Anastasia Colucci, 21, no fixed address, for intentionally setting a fire at 4819 Leland Street (Chevy Chase) on June 25 as well as 7141 Wisconsin Ave (Bethesda) on June 26. She has been charged with one count Arson 1st Degree and two counts Arson 2nd Degree.
Investigators are also asking anyone with information regarding fires that occurred this past weekend at two area churches to call the arson tipline at 240-777-2263.
