Washingtonian Names Park Potomac’s King Street Oyster Bar ‘Best Oyster Happy Hour’

Washingtonian released its ‘Best of Summer: Where We’d Have a Drink Right Now’ list that includes “new rooftop lounges, summery cocktails, terrific happy hour deals, and more reasons to raise a glass.” King Street Oyster Bar, which opened a location in Park Potomac this past March, was named ‘Best Oyster Happy Hour.”

Per Washingtonian: All four locations of King Street Oyster Bar—Potomac, NoMa, Leesburg, and Middleburg—offer a top-notch daily happy hour. Dollar oysters, plus a wide array of $7 drinks, are available from 3 to 6:30. (The DC location goes until 7.)

The King Street motto is “The best oysters you’ll find west of Route 28 and probably DC, too.”  According to their website, they guarantee the freshness of their oysters– their East Coast oysters spend no more than 24 hours out of the water and their West Coast oysters spend no more than 48 hours out of the water.
