Wheaton Mall to Host Dinosaurs Rock Event Saturday, June 11

In honor of Jurassic WorldWestfield Wheaton will host Dinosaurs ROCK! tomorrow from 11am to 1pm in the Lower Level Macy’s court. The exhibit and Fossil Dig is a one-of-a-kind prehistoric experience with more than 25 life-size and genuine fossils and specimens such as skulls, footprints and dinosaur eggs, a “touch table” for children to explore as well as “tours” about various specimens and fossils led by an expert.
 

Children will be able to create take-home art in the form of a fossil and the first 250 children can participate in a Fossil Dig to excavate and take home one REAL fossil. AMC Theatres will also host a one hour popup with games, giveaways and more during the event.

Get ready for an open house that includes an expansive dinosaur/fossil Museum Exhibit, DINOSAURS ROCK expert, Hands-on Fossil Dig & Craft, and DINOSAURS ROCK Museum Shop.

Museum Exhibit – To include 25+ life-size & genuine Dinosaur/Fossil Museum quality specimens (skulls, footprints, genuine fossils such as dinosaur egg/bone/coprolite (poop!) etc… One of the tables will be a “touch” table for visitors

One-on-one “tours” – As visitors come by, a DINOSAURS ROCK expert will speak about various specimens to add to the excitement

Hands-on Activities – Fossil Dig where each child (first 250 kids) can take home 1 REAL fossil and rubbing plate station (kids create fossil/dinosaur art)
