Maryland Lottery and Gaming issued the following new release for Problem Gambling Awareness Month (PGAM). PGAM is a “nationwide grassroots campaign, held annually in March, that seeks to increase public awareness of problem gambling and promote prevention, treatment, and recovery services.”
According to Maryland Lottery & Gaming, Maryland’s sports wagering market generated $4,210,511 in contributions to the state from a handle of $442,557,658 during February 2024.
According to Maryland Lottery and Gaming, Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $159,226,677 in revenue from slot machines and table games during February 2024, an increase of $2,170,752 (1.4%) compared to February 2023. (more…)
