Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office Issues Public Safety Message on Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, and Elder Abuse

Per the State’s Attorney’s Office:

“With the increase in COVID-19 cases brought on by the Omicron variant, we are concerned about victims of Domestic Violence who may be suffering in silence. In addition, we have seen an increase in reports of Child Abuse in recent months and we know social isolation is one of the greatest risk factors for Elder Abuse.

Resolution to Require Proof of Vaccinations at Restaurants, Bars, and Gyms to be Introduced at Tuesday’s County Council Meeting, Full Meeting Agenda Released

Per Montgomery County:

Council meets on Jan. 11 to receive a public health update on COVID-19, introduce a resolution supporting an additional early voting site and conduct a public hearing on the establishment of a Police Accountability Board and Administrative Charging Commit
