Want to learn to register people to vote; anywhere, anytime? Then join the UMD School of Social Work Advocacy Students and Rockville Renters United on May 5th for a free Voter Registrar training and community potluck!
We’ll be joined by a representative from the Montgomery County Board of Elections who will train us to become Voter Registration Distributors. You’ll learn how to register people to vote wherever you meet them; at their door, an event, or any where else. Getting your neighbors registered is a key way strengthening our democracy.
We’re also throwing a potluck to provide food for the evening! If you’re able, please bring one of your favorite dishes to share with the group. We’ll provide the flatware, you bring the flavor.
