The pandemic lockdown killed the business because the bulk of the sales were offsite conventions, which haven’t returned yet”

Montgomery County Fair to Host COVID Vaccination Site

Along with the carnival rides and funnel cakes, fairgoers will have an opportunity to get the COVID-19 vaccination at this year’s Montgomery County Agricultural Fair. The fair has announced that it is working with the Montgomery County Government to host a free COVID vaccination site at the event daily.

Beyond MoCo: Washington Football Team Among Teams With Lowest COVID-19 Vaccination Rates

The Associated Press reported Friday that the Washington Football Team, along with the Indianapolis Colts, “had the two lowest COVID-19 vaccination rates among the 32 teams in the league, according to the person who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the league hasn’t released the numbers, which are changing daily.”

Governor Larry Hogan announced on Thursday that Maryland has now surpassed 7 million COVID-19 vaccines administered. He told Marylanders, “it is clearer than ever that these vaccines are extremely effective, but those who are unvaccinated do remain at risk, especially with the highly transmissible variants”.

The MC Rockville Campus will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination & testing site beginning today, Monday, July 12 at the South Campus Instructional Building (51 Mannakee St, Rockville).
