MCFRS Respond to Car Fire at Magruder High School

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a vehicle fire at Colonel Zadok Magruder High School in Derwood on Friday, March 1.

The fire was located in the student parking and there were no injuries reported.

Magruder High School released the following community message: “URGENT: Dear Magruder community, the automobile fire that occured in our school parking lot today at approximately 11:00 am is contained and students and staff are safe. No students or staff were in danger at any time. Students are remaining in their classrooms and will be dismissed to lunch as scheduled at 11:30pm.”
