Montgomery County Executive Mock Election

Picture

County Executive candidates pictured in alphabetical order: Roger Berliner, David Blair, Marc Elrich, Robin Ficker, Bill Frick, Rose Krasnow, and George Leventhal.

A county executive is the head of the executive branch of government in a United States county.

When elected, the executive typically functions either as a voting member of the elected county government, or may have veto power similar to other elected executives such as a governor, president or mayor.

For the first time since December of 2006, we will have a new county executive (Ike Leggett has held the position since December 4th, 2006).

Though the general election isn’t until Tuesday, November 6th, 2018, the primaries will be held in just a few weeks on June 26th, 2018. We have decided to include all 7 candidates (6 Democratic candidates, one of which will make it to the general election, and the lone Republican candidate). This is not a scientific poll.

Below we will provide links to the websites of each candidate.

Roger Berliner (D)

David Blair (D)

Marc Elrich (D)

Robin Ficker (R)

Bill Frick (D)

Rose Krasnow (D)

George Leventhal (D)

This poll will run from 5:45AM on Monday, 6/4/18 until 11:59pm on Thursday, 6/7/18.
