The Eleanor Bowling Lounge Will be Part of a $10 Million Overhaul for Downtown Silver Spring

The Eleanor, a neighborhood ‘bowling lounge’; a comfortable, casual dining and drinking establishment with the addition of skee ball, mini bowling and other games, is coming to Downtown Silver Spring.

This morning Biz Journals reported that Downtown Silver Spring will undergo a $10 million overhaul that will include the 7,700 square foot bowling lounge.

The Eleanor will be located at 931 Ellsworth Ave, which was formerly home to Lincoln BBQ.

Signage for The Eleanor was up last week next to Lebanese Taverna. There is currently a location at 100 Florida Avenue NE Washington, DC 20002,across the street from the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro Station. They also offer free on-site parking for anyone who wants to check it out prior to the Silver Spring location opening.

According to BizJournals “the venue will serve brunch, lunch and dinner, host two happy hours per weekday and offer six bowling lanes, more than a dozen arcade games and multiple outdoor patios.”

There is no expected opening date available at this time.
