Kids Ride Free…All the Time

The Montgomery County Council voted unanimously to expand the Kids Ride Free program to all hours of the day, seven days a week (per County Councilmember, Craig Rice).

The Kids Ride Free program provides free rides on County Ride On buses and certain Metrobus routes within Montgomery County to kids ages 18 and under (older if still in high school) who are Montgomery County residents.

Free service on Ride On for residents under 18 will begin July . Free service on Metrobus will begin later this summer (per County Councilmember, Evan Glass).
