Last September we told you about a plan that was submitted to convert 8019 Snouffer School Rd. to a new Checker’s location.
The bank that was previously in that location has now been torn down, but construction has not yet begun on the new Checkers restaurant.
This location will have a drive-thru and many of the design features found at a typical Checkers restaurant, but will also provide outdoor seating and amenities that would make it a destination dining location.
I would expect this Checkers to be ready by mid-2020. This would be the second Checkers location in MoCo (the first location is also in Gaithersburg, on Shady Grove Rd).
