North Bethesda Middle School Career Day

What an amazing Career Day at North Bethesda Middle School yesterday!

I’d like to give a huge shoutout to Ashley Rice and the rest of the NBMS counseling department for putting together such an awesome and informative morning.
We had 68 speakers in the building to tell our students about their careers. The students were able to collect information on their capture sheets after attending four sessions with the speakers of their choice.
In the photos below you’ll see just a few of our speakers:
  • Dr. Marc Lippman- Professor of Oncology at Georgetown University
  • Tim Kurkjian- ESPN Major League Baseball analyst
  • Noelle Silver- Vice President of Digital Technology at NPR
  • Andrew Friedson- Montgomery County Councilmember
  • Sabrina Conte- On-Air personality at WASH-FM
  • Melissa Mollet- Traffic reporter for NBC4
  • Mounted U.S. Park Police
  • Chef Sunil Bastola- Commonwealth Indian
