Mitchell and Joshua Lomke, owners of Smile Designs of Olney, have been offering the most thorough and highest quality dental care to Montgomery county residents for over 40 years! Dr. Mitchell Lomke, a resident of MoCo since his early teens, has provided valuable dental care to his community for over 40 years! Dr. Lomke is a member of the Dean’s Alumni Faculty at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore as a Clinical Instructor. He has appeared on Channel 9 TV News to educate the public on “High Tech” Dentistry. Dr. Lomke has attained the level of Educator for the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), which is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to the advancement of education of all dental professionals in the field of dental lasers.
Dr. Joshua Lomke is also a life-long resident of MoCo and graduated from Blake High School in 2007. Following in his father’s footsteps, he received his B.S. in biology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2011 and was then awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2015, graduating near the top of his class. Following graduation, Dr. Lomke spent time working in Connecticut under the guidance of a nationally renowned and awarded cosmetic and full mouth rehabilitation dentist. During that time, Dr. Lomke was able to hone his skills with respect to smile makeovers, veneers, as well as other complex and cosmetic dental treatments.
