Addis Ababa Appears to Have Closed Permanently

A long-standing Ethiopian restaurant in Silver Spring shuts its doors
Addis Ababa Restaurant, a Silver Spring staple for almost 15 years, appears to have closed. Their colorful sign has been taken down, and their phone number is disconnected. It is also listed as “permanently closed” on Open Table.
Addis Abada Restaurant was one of the early Ethiopian eateries in an area that now boasts dozens. Tax records for the current owner of the property, Abye LLC, don’t list a public phone number, so it is unclear what will replace Addis Ababa Restaurant.
