Athletics Fields Set to Reopen Across MoCo

Athletics Fields Set to Reopen Across MoCo

Montgomery County officials announced earlier this week that athletic fields at regional and recreational parks will be open to low and medium-risk sports starting September 1st.

Athletic fields at local parks have been open to the public, but community sports leagues have not been allowed to use them. Tournaments will still be banned in order to prevent gatherings of 50 or more people.

The sports that will be available to play on the reopened field include soccer, baseball, football, and several others. A full list of new regulations can be found at https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/covid19/reopening/requirements/sports.html
