MoCo Celebrities: Kimmy Gatewood

Did you know Kimmy Gatewood is from Silver Spring and graduated from Paint Branch High School?

The MoCo native stars in GLOW as Stacey Beswick and portrayed Coach Crowley in Atypical, both successful series on Netflix. You may even remember her as Hillary Clinton or Marilyn Monroe from the “Epic Rap Battles of History” video series.

She also recently directed an episode of the new Netflix reboot of The Babysitters Club.

Gatewood began her comedy career in improv workshops at Paint Branch when she was a student there in the mid 90s.
