Sweetly Anchored Patisserie to Close Permanently this Friday, 10/30

Sweetly Anchored Patisserie announced on its social media that it will close after two years in Cabin John Mall.

Though they’ll be closing the storefront Sweetly Anchored will still be taking custom cake & pastry orders and plan to cook something up for the winter months as well, as they ask customers to stay tuned.

The message they shared earlier this month on social media can be seen below.

“It is with great sadness, that we are here to announce the closure of our storefront location inside Cabin John Mall. This didn’t come as an easy decision but with such uncertainty, it must be done.

In the last 2 years that our storefront has been opened, we have enjoyed getting to know so many of you and your families. Not only have you become friends, but family as well! We enjoyed so many Saturdays filled with homemade hot chocolates, pastries and memories.

As most of you know I could be found at the counter most any time of day. This community has been so good to us. We will never forgot the moments within these walls.

BUT WAIT! We aren’t done. This doesn’t mean we can’t still help you celebrate those special occasions in life that still happen whether we are in Covid era or not. Sweetly Anchored will still be taking custom cake & pastry orders. We’ve also got some things in the works for the winter months as well. STAY TUNED!

So, we will be closing up our beach bungalow in Cabin John October 30th. We hope this space brought as much joy, fun & laughter as it did to us. Know this is not goodbye. We thank you for your continued support during these times, and can’t wait to continue to make memories with you and your families for years to come through our love a baking & pastries! <3”
