8th Grader Creates Light Show to Help Collect Donations for an Emergency Food Pantry
Earlier this evening Jess Berrellez, president of the Ridgeview Middle School PTA, reached out to let us know of a remarkable 8th grader who created an amazing holiday light show to delight friends and neighbors, and collect donations for the RMS PTSA Emergency Food Pantry.
The show debuts this Saturday, 12/19 and is located on Damson Terrace in North Potomac, at the end of the cul-de-sac. The show is 3 songs long and will run continuously every night through Sunday, 12/27, from 6-9:00 pm.
The collection bin will be next to Santa Clause & mailbox and the pantry serves students at RMS and across the QOHS cluster.
Food items such as pasta, beans, oatmeal, and soup are in high demand, as are new and unopened personal hygiene products like soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.
