Montgomery Parks Seeks Input for the Capital Improvements Program for Fiscal Years 2023-2028


The public may submit comments and questions during June 10th virtual forum or online, by mail, and /or email.

Per Montgomery Parks:

SILVER SPRING, MD—Montgomery Parks is seeking public input on its Capital Improvements Program (CIP) for fiscal years 2023 – 2028. The CIP is a six-year funding plan for capital projects, which is approved every two years by the Montgomery Planning Board and the Montgomery County Council.

 

Comments and questions may be submitted online, by email or U.S. mail, or virtually at the online public forum. The public forum takes place online on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 7 p.m.

The CIP for Montgomery Parks includes projects for parkland acquisitions, renovation of park facilities, and new development within parks.  The Recreation Department’s CIP includes projects for new community/recreation centers and aquatic facilities, and for renovations to existing facilities.
