Gaithersburg Police and Neighborhoods to Participate in Annual National Night Out Against Crime Campaign on August 3
When: Tuesday, August 3, 2021
Neighborhoods will hold events to increase drug prevention awareness, generate support for anti-crime programs, encourage residents to be involved in their communities, and send a message that neighborhoods & businesses are organized to fight back against crime. The NNO programs help bring together residents, law enforcement agencies, local officials, civic groups & neighborhood organizations.
Participating neighborhoods include:
- Bennington (6 – 8:30 p.m.)
Large grassy area bordered by Longdraft Road, Wade Court, Oak Shade & E. Darby Court
Social event on Parcel K. - Casey Community Center (6 – 8 p.m.)
810 South Frederick Avenue
Indoor activities including music, craft activities, games, special guests, giveaways, & more. Advanced registration is appreciated. - Kentlands/Lakelands (6 – 8 p.m.)
485 Tschiffely Square Road
Activities at the Clubhouse. - Montgomery Meadows
Check with neighborhood for details. - Whetstone Run (6:30 – 8 p.m.)
400 block of Belle Grove Road
Cook out.
