Water Main Break in Downtown Silver Spring Closes Multiple Streets

Update from WSSC:

Crews continue the emergency water main repairs in Silver Spring. The damaged piece of 36-inch in diameter pipe has been cut and taken out to prepare for a new section of pipe. Not an easy job, but crews are making progress. Still several hours until final repairs are complete. pic.twitter.com/YXtoZsD1cT

Water Main Break in Downtown Silver Spring Closes Multiple Streets

A water main break in downtown Silver Spring has caused several street closures around Georgia Ave. and Colesville Rd.

Several residents have reported that they currently do not have water.
