Quince Orchard High School Pauses Football Program Due to COVID-19 Outbreak
Quince Orchard High School is suspending it’s football program after six individuals at the high school have tested positve for COVID-19.
In a letter sent out by the school, it states that six students who were present at Quince Orchard High School on August 16th tested positive for COVID-19 on August 17th. Following Montgomery County Health and Human Services Guidelines, they are asking those known to have direct contact with these individuals to quarantine.
According to a report by FOX 5, a spokesperson for MCPS said that it is believed that the cases are connected with the football program.
