Quince Orchard High School Up To 26 Covid Cases

Quince Orchard High School sent out a community notification today updating students, staff, and families on the recent Covid-19 cases at the school.

According to the notification, the school was notified of six additional positive Covid-19 cases, which brings the total number of cases at the school to 26.

Last week, the school paused the football program after six individuals at the high school tested positive for COVID-19.

MCPS is preparing for a full return to in-person instruction next week and will discuss the return and other items at tomorrow’s board of education meeting.

Over the weekend, WDVM’s Alex Flum reported “MCPS also says the plan is for football practices to resume for vaccinated athletes and staff who are asymptomatic on Monday.”

The notification sent out to the Quince Orchard community can be seen below.
