Water Rescue Performed This Morning on Beach Drive and Connecticut Avenue
Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer tweeted that MCFRS performed a water rescue on Beach Drive and Connecticut Avenue this morning around 6:30am.
The vehicle was stranded in high water. One person was removed and there were no injuries.
Rock Creek has overflowed at Beach Drive near Cedar Lane. Park Police is in the process of closing Beach Drive.
