2:50pm Update: The Dashboard is rounded up from 49.97 cases, so Montgomery County remains in moderate transmission.
Original article below:
Montgomery County is back in “substantial transmission” after coming in at exactly 50 cases per 100,000 residents in today’s indicator value category.
Yesterday’s indicator value dropped below 50 cases per 100,000 residents, which put the county in moderate transmission for a day.
The indoor mask requirement would have been reinstated on Tuesday, November 9, as the seventh consecutive day of substantial transmission would technically have been on November 5 if yesterday’s level remained in “substantial transmission” (with a four-day grace period to allow numbers to be confirmed with CDC data).
Today would mark the first of seven consecutive days in substantial transmission necessary to reinstate the indoor mask requirement.
