Silver Spring House Fire Thursday Evening Leaves Two Adults and Seven Children Displaced

A house fire that occurred on Pinedale Drive in Silver Spring Thursday around 5:30pm has left one family of nine (2 adults/7 children) displaced.  The cause of the fire was electrical in nature and started in a bedroom, according to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Pete Piringer.

No injuries were reported and damages are estimated to be at least $60,000.
