
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a fire at a home on the 5200blk of Yosemite Dr, near Nadine Dr, Monday morning.
Cheif Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer reports that the fire originated in the exterior of the home (carport), and was likely caused by misplaced fireplace ashes on the carport next to house/car.
A vehicle was damaged and there was minimal extension to interior of house. All occupants made it out of the home safely.
