The Montgomery County Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the 12000 block of Treetop Dr. in Silver Spring.
3rd District officers responded to the area shortly before 9am.
According to a post by MCPD, an adult male was pronounced dead on the scene and homicide detectives believe this to be an isolated incident.
There is no suspect in custody at this time.
