Personal finance website WalletHub has released its list on 2022’s “Most and Least Educated States in America” with Maryland listed as the second most educated state.
“One of the biggest difficulties for education in the past two years has been the COVID-19 pandemic, and colleges currently face the struggle of balancing campus safety with returning to in-person classes. Amid these struggles, some states are able to provide safe, quality education more than others”, writes WalletHub.
In this study, WalletHub compared all 50 states across 18 metrics that examined what they determined are the “key factors of a well-educated population”: educational attainment, school quality and achievement gaps between genders and races.
With most colleges resuming in-person learning and BLS data showing a correlation between higher education levels, higher income and lower unemployment rates, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on 2022’s Most & Least Educated States in America.
