Bethesda: Sarah's Handmade Ice Cream to Donate 25% of All Sales This Week to Ukrainian Relief Efforts

Sarah’s Handmade Ice Cream, a local ice cream shop with two Bethesda locations, has announced that it will be donating 25% of all sales towards Ukrainian relief efforts.

The store posted the following on its social media pages:

“We stand for peace We stand with Ukraine We are deeply saddened by the recent disruption of peace.

Please join us for a week of fundraising for Ukraine. 25% of all sales (in person and online) will be donated to the organizations listed. Please visit linktr.we/razomforUkraine to learn more.”

Proceeds raised through the fundraiser will be donated to, World Central Kitchen, “Come Back Alive” Ukrainian Army, Nova Ukraine, and Voices of Children.

Sarah’s Handmade was created by a Bethesda mother-daughter team, Sarah and Annie Park. When Sarah retired in 2018, she suddenly found herself with time to indulge in her old hobbies. She began to experiment and create original ice cream recipes for her family, friends, and neighbors, fit for each occasion. Soon enough, she was receiving calls and orders from strangers for her handmade ice cream! With strong enthusiasm from friends and wide support from neighbors, Sarah and Annie decided to bring the homemade flavors to a River Road storefront in Bethesda.
