Hallowed Grounds Coffee Co. to Open in Olde Towne Gaithersburg, Update on Saints Row Brewing

Hallowed Grounds Coffee Co. is coming to 15 Fulks Corner Ave in Olde Towne Gaithersburg as part of Saints Row’s “Craft Collective.”

Saints Row announced this past fall that it would be moving to the Fulks Corner location, which was formerly home to Brawling Bear Brewery, this spring. The brewery hopes to be open by the end of April.

The brewery also recently purchased additional space in the new building to launch Hallowed Grounds Coffee Co, a boutique coffee roaster and cafe.

They tell us, “our production team will be focused on small batch artisanally roasted coffee. We will be providing a range of regions and roast profiles, as well as experimenting with new and unique processes such as barrel aging green and roasted coffee. Working together with the brewery, we have high hopes for packaging cold brew to stock our shelves. Our small scale flexibility will also allow us to offer custom blends and roasts for customers.”

They are currently roasting small batches and hope to have the shop open this summer.

Saints Row also tells us that the new location will give them, “considerably more patron space, covered outdoor seating (coming this Summer), 16 taps including local wine and gluten free options, and an improved customer experience while still maintaining the quality and charm our community has come to expect from our incredible team.”

According to brewery, the move is being considered a homecoming of sorts as one of their owners grew up in the East Deer Park neighborhood, is a GHS alumnus, and is currently raising his family in Washington Grove.
