Celebrate ‘Take a Walk in the Park Day’ in MoCo Parks on March 30th

March 30 is Take a Walk in the Park Day. But, every day is a good day to stroll, walk, or hike in the parks.

Montgomery Parks has put together six activities to help you step into parks.

Cherry Trees

Walk through our parks this weekend and enjoy cherry blooms. Some cherry trees are blooming at Brookside Gardens. Locate other cherry trees in our parks with our online tree finder. And, remember about the Cherry Blossom Fun Run and Walk  at South Germantown Recreational Park on Saturday, April 2, 9 am to 11 am.

We hope you also take advantage of the Parks and Trail Directory and Heart Smart Trails resources on our website to help you find a location for Take a Walk in the Park Day.
