Chicken on the Run, a Peruvian chicken restaurant located 4933 St Elmo Ave in Bethesda, has announced its closure on the restaurant’s website.
The restaurant first opened its doors in 2002 and announced that it will be closing due to landlords not renewing the lease. The Chicken on the Run website states the business is closed and the full notice, which is cut off on the website, states the following:
“BUSING CLOSING NOTICE
SORRY, AFTER MORE THAN 20 YEARS IN BUSINESS WE ARE CLOSING OUR BUSINESS DUE TO THE LANDLORD NOT RENEWING OUR LEASE.
ON BEHA”
