The 10th annual VisArts’ Rockville Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, May 7th and Sunday, May 8th at Rockville Town Square, between 10am and 5pm.
The Festival is a celebration of creativity and community that brings 10,000 people together for art, food, and fun.
This year’s event will feature 130 fine artists and artisans showcasing their one-of-a-kind creations in a vibrant outdoor gallery that’s free and open to all – rain or shine.
Whether you’re a casual shopper or serious collector, VisArts invited you to by to stroll the Square and enjoy original art, local bands and dancers, art demonstrations, artisanal and festival food, beer, wine, and more.

The free outdoor event will feature 130 fine artists and artisans showcasing their one-of-a-kind creations, live music and cultural performances, art demonstrations, food trucks, wine, craft beer, and more. We’ll close the streets to traffic and turn the area into a pedestrian-only thoroughfare for art, food, and fun! Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for a unique gift, you’ll find it at the Festival.

VisArts’ galleries are always free and open to the public. Stop by during the Festival, Saturday-Sunday, 12 PM-4 PM, to see Frame & Frequency VIII in the Buchanan Room and SUSPENDED INTER-SPACES in the Gibbs Street, Kaplan, and Common Ground Galleries. Join us for artist talks and a dance performance on Saturday, 1-4 PM!
The Festival is within easy walking distance of the Rockville Metro station (Red Line). Parking is free for two hours at numerous garages conveniently located around the site. Visit our parking and directions page for more information.
