Two children were struck by drivers in two separate locations in Germantown Friday afternoon, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services PIO Pete Piringer.
The incidents occurred in close proximity (time & geography) on the 12200 block of Eagles Nest Ct. and the 18800 block of Waring Station Rd., near Roberto Clemente Middle School.
The first incident occurred at approximately 3:35pm (Eagles Nest Court) with the second incident occurring at approximately 3:40pm (Waring Station Road). Both patients were children under the age of 15, and both were transported as Pri2 traumas with serious, but non life threatening injuries. Below you will see the criteria for each level of trauma.
